Well, a few weeks ago I held auditions for my "Sexy Sound" project. I figured since it would be an audio project that the max number of auditions I'd get would be like... twenty. But for some reason I managed to get SEVENTY-EIGHT AUDITIONS. Like, holy hell. Thanks so much to everyone who auditioned! I have a huge pool of talent to choose from and I don't see myself picking just twenty people like I'd originally planned.

The cast list won't be up for another week or so (I don't know why people seem to think that's weird), so please don't ask me when the cast list will be up. I'll kinda e-mail you back if you've been chosen... eventually. If you want to see the audition list then just look two posts back for that.

At some point I'll need to look for a composer to make a couple of tracks for a short action/suspense/horror story that will be included in this project. This particular story is pretty dear to me and choosing the characters will be pretty damn difficult (that's part of the reason for why it will take me a long while to choose the cast). Hopefully I can find one within the next couple of weeks or so.

Anyway, exam week is over so that means I can voice act some more. Yay. I'll be getting those lines I owe some folks done pretty soon.

Here are my favorite tracks from the only anime-related visual novel I will ever play. Jesus Christ the game's soundtrack is amazing.

Welp, school's back again and as always, I have a bunch of exams coming my way. To be more specific, next week. Because of this I won't be voicing for anything until next Friday, the 12th, which is the same day that auditions for my "Sexy Sound" Project will end (so please audition if you haven't already).

I've uploaded a couple of useless stuff to the audio portal (they were actually made by me months ago, but didn't want to put it up then), so check it out if you have the time. The stuff is kinda disturbing, but oh well. I had fun mixing it.

I'm hoping to earn enough money for my new recording setup soon (new mic, preamp, recording/mixing programs, etc). I've already decided on what I'd get with the help of the awesome staff at sweetwater, and my home girl, Nikkita (who is a professional VA and Musician, her shit is awesome look her up). I'm really excited! Until then, I'll be working on making up lines for a possible demo reel.

Kay, I'm tired of typing this. Baaaaaaawwwwwww.

It's that time again...

So, I think I said some time ago that when I'm not voice acting, I'm usually acting as an amateur producer who either created audio projects or takes a crack at making fandubs.

Last month, I decided to dub a clip from Gurren Lagann. I put together a cast as usual, but the only difference was that everyone had awesome mic quality, awesome acting, and I was able to release something that I was extremely proud of. :)

Here's the dub below:

In any case, I just wanted to share this. Unlike other dubs, the cast is made up entirely of newground peeps. So I decided to put this one up.

The cast is as follows:

Simon - Y. Chang
Yoko - Haushinka
Boota - Me
Kamina - Egoraptor
Kittan - sonicmega
Dayakka - Antfish

This bitch gotta get back to recording now. :l

P.S. I will now discontinue watching Gurren Lagann. Eight episodes was enough for me. :/

I've been thinking about this for a month now, and I think I'd really like to help flash/music artists out with sound-editing in their flashes/songs, respectively.

If you're in need of someone to spice up the vocals to a song, mix in detailed sound effects into a flash, make your song or flash sound exceptionally high quality, or just to level out the audio in whatever flash or song you're working on, I'm your gal!

I think I've been practicing sound-editing since 2006-2007. I do a lot of audio projects, mix a lot of songs, and mix a lot of fandubs (sometimes demo reels if I'm up to it). Here's some examples of stuff that I've mixed:

Audio

1. Here's a song I re-mixed the vocals to for someone a couple of nights ago: Here ... and here's what it sounded like before: Here (before)

2. Here's a character demo I had to voice and mix for an acting competition: Here

I also mixed my voice demo here: Voice Demo

Animation

3. And here is every fandub I've ever released up until now: Here

I mixed in the music, mixed the sound effects from scratch, and cleaned up the vocals on each and every one of them.

So if you're in need of assistance, just send me a message and I'll get back to you. The only thing I'd like in return for the help is to be credited for "sound" if it's for a flash, or "Editing" for music.

Contact me if you're interested.

First off, I wanna thank Jaxxy for making the picture that's in my profile for me! It turned out fantastic and I looove looking at it every time I sign in to my account orz. Also, I wanna thank Tom for removing the numbers off my username in such a clean and speedy manner! Another thanks again to Jaxxy and Egoraptor for giving me a short tutorial on how to not "sound anime." I really appreciated it. <3

I've been recording for projects at a slow rate, mainly because of my intense (INTENSE. INTENSE. I KID YOU NOT) Biology course taking up most of my free time. I actually have three other classes, Organic Chemistry, English Comp., and Community Nutrition that I'm taking, but I'm not worried about those as much as I am about Biology. So yeah, if you're still waiting on lines for me, I'll try to get them in as soon as I can (hopefully this Sunday). :(

I have two science exams in less than two weeks and will be studying my ass of starting next Tuesday.

Here. Have some beer:

Okay, so I moved into my new apartment aaaaaand found a huge recording area I can record at (my miniature-sized closet). I can start taking voice requests again. Just be sure to check my last post before you send me a private message.

K, back to watching Bernie Mac Show, bai!

Ffff-- Settled in and stuff, I think.

Hey everyone!

First off I'd like to thank all the artists and musicians here who have given me the opportunity to voice in their flashes/music, etc. I really appreciate it (I never knew it would happen). Also, for those of you who refer me to other, you are awesome. You've really helped me out!

Now, next tuesday, I'll be moving into my new apartment. I have school in about two weeks and need to get settled before it starts. I'm also having some financial issues with my school, but hopefully that gets sorted out this week...

Since I'll be packing and unpacking from tuesday through friday, I won't have any time to record for a short while. However, once I prepare a recording area in my new room I'll be open to most requests. I'll make a post about it when I'm done. If I owe you lines then you probably won't get anything from me until next week. If that's too long of a wait for you then please feel free to re-cast me as I don't want to hold anyone back.

College is gonna kick my ass this year with the science classes I have lined up. Because of that I'm going to have to limit the voice work I do. Not only that, but I also have projects of my own I have to focus on so I'll have a lot on my hands for a while. So, for now, the only projects I'll consider are:

- from artists who seem to have a good amount of experience in drawing and animating
- artists who have had at least one (positive) award given to them (so I don't feel like they'll drop a project I've already recorded lines for...)
- projects that aren't hentai related.
- projects that will be presented on newgrounds (not youtube, deviantART, etc)
- any music projects (however, your stuff has to sound appealing to me--no offense :S )

And of course, if I've worked with you before, I'll be more than happy to continue working with you. :)

Be sure to give me a good amount of info on the project you want me to voice in, too! I'd really like to know what kind of stuff I get myself into. :l

You can check it out here!

I wish I could have done more but I was running out of character ideas. Hopefully next time I'll have something better to whip up!

If you like what you hear, then I am open for voicing in your projects! Just send me a private message on here! The only kinds of project I'll deny is hentai since I just don't feel comfortable voicing in that sort of stuff. D:

Also, a video to share with all of you. I love these guys to death:

Hey everyone! I'm Sapphire2611 and am new to newgrounds (not really, occassionally I just lurk around in the audio portals and sometimes the flash portals). I'm an amateur voice actress for good fun, ut would like to one day be the voice of a radio/TV commercial (at least ONCE).

So, yeah, I do a lot of voice acting (it's been a year since I really started), and I thought it'd be great to be able to voice in flash movies whether it be anime-based, game-based, or original. So far I've only voiced Peach in Mario's 1UP Adventure (by Doomsday), but I hope to play other characters in other flashes in the future.

Usually if you ask me to play someone, I'll say yes. I find it fun voicing interesting and fun characters.

At some point, I'll put up a character reel for all (who are interested) to listen to.

If you have any questions, feel free to message me!
